It is time to start thinking about goals for the new year! Why not register now for Master the Met? This event, benefiting the American Lung Association, is a competitive stairclimb up the Metropolitan Square Building in downtown St. Louis and will take place on March 1, 2008. This is the only event of its kind in the area, so don't miss your chance to participate. CrossFit St. Louis now has 4 registered team members. Lets reach our goal of 10 participants by the end of the year!
Climb Captain, Elizabeth Wehrle, will be organizing some training sessions for this new, fun event soon! Check back here (and the Master the Met link under Upcoming events) for details!

Hello, fellow crossfitters.
I just noticed that Volume 15 of the Crossfit Journal is now available for free on the HQ website. I highly recommend it. It's a very nice distillation of the Zone and other good approaches to eating. I paid for this one a while ago and return to it often. Take advantage of it. It's free and I think it offers a very good history of recent developments in nutrition. Glassman has done a nice job reviewing a large literature.
Go to "Crossfit Journal" on the left hand side of crossfit.com and find the title "CFJ Issue 15: Nutrition -Avoiding Metabolic Derangement"
Cheers,
O.
