CrossFit Foundations
Before participating in a CrossFit class, new athletes will need to learn how to effectively and safely execute the movement patterns performed during CrossFit classes. Some of the exercises and functional movements that you will learn are: proper squatting form, Kettlebell swings, Olympic lifts, deadlifts, medicine ball work, pull-ups, ring work and more!
Listed below are the current options for learning the CrossFit Foundations
Personal training and Small Group Training. Meet one on one with a personal trainer or grab a friend or 2 for some small group training sessions. These sessions will address form and technique of the basic movements required to participate in a CrossFit class. The training sessions will also consist of a CrossFit WOD (Workout of the Day). Three to six training sessions are usually required to effectively and safely learn the movements before being able to perform them with intensity in a CrossFit class.
